Miku Baby Monitor Review

When we moved to North Carolina, our 3 year old baby monitor decided to stop working. We tried to get buy without a monitor for a few weeks, but grew frustrated fast. Our current home layout has the boy’s rooms on the other side of the house. This makes it difficult to hear when the boys wake up in the morning or during naps. The sense of peace was missing without a monitor. That’s when my search for the perfect monitors began! I Googled and polled mom friends, until I decide to give the Miku Smart Baby Monitor a try. I got cameras for both boys and it’s literally the best.

I love the sleek modern design. It comes with cord covers to hide the cords on the wall. They even send you a screwdriver and measuring tape for proper assembly.

One feature I love is the sleep tracking. It gives you a full analysis of how your child slept during the day and night. You get information on the quality of their sleep, how many times he/she was active or vocal and audible alarms. The sleep tracking helps me be more productive during naps and even encourages me to go to bed earlier so I can have a longer night’s sleep.

I was apprehensive at first that the camera utilizes WIFI but upon further research, Ryan and I felt comfortable. All data and viewing is accessed through the Miku app but is secure through your own personal WIFI code, not associated with your at home WIFI password. I am so happy with our choice.

Get ready for a nursery and toddler room tour soon!
