Five Kid’s Books We Like (right now) December 17, 2021 Noëlle Boyer *This post contains affiliate links The Good Egg, by Jory John & Pete Oswald This one is about self care and accepting yourself. As I read each page, I feel more in love with the book. It’s about accepting that you are enough, no matter how you stand out. 2. The Day the Crayons Quit, by Drew Daywalt Told from the perspective of an exhausted & slightly disgruntled box of crayons 3. Aaron Slater, Illustrator, by Andrea Beaty This one is about imagination & being unapologetically you. My littles particularly like the illustrations. 4. The Invisible String, by Patrice Karst This book turns me into a puddle. It’s about love that transcends distance. As a military family, this message resonates strongly with us. 5. The Dragon and the Nibblesome Knight, by Elli Woollard & Benji Davies This one tackles friendship & rising above prejudices. What books are your kid(s) enjoying right now?
