The Good Habits You Gained From Quarantine

It’s easy to focus on the negatives of 2020. It’s becoming the year of loss. ⁣

A friend challenged me to change my perspective by asking, “What are 3 good habits you’ve gained in the last 6 months?”⁣ Good habits help you create a sense of routine during these anxious times. ⁣

Here are my 3:⁣

1. I freed myself from an obsession with working out. I used to feel guilty for not working out everyday. Now I just work out 4x a week. ⁣

2. I started reading again. I’m choosing books over binge watching. ⁣

3. No social media Sundays. It’s an entire day where I am fully present with my entire family. ⁣

Bonus: I discovered the joy of plants. ⁣

2020 has been hard. We’re going to continue to face loss, have tough conversations, and feel as if we’re not doing enough. If we aren’t taking care of ourselves, nothing good can come from this year. ⁣

>>Friends, what are 3 good habits you’ve established this year? If you can’t think of any, here’s your chance to start.
